Nissan Micra front wheel drive full day rally driving

Originally built for Nissans one-make Micra Challenge, the little front-wheel drive ace is still a popular car in Clubman rallies. Most modern road cars are front-wheel drive so the skills learnt in the Micra can be of real benefit when you drive on slippery winter roads. Its also very forgiving and tremendous fun!
The day begins at 9.00am when you will receive a briefing by your instructor, including an explanation of the car, rally driving techniques you will be practicing and how the Rally Special Stage is marked out. Each Driver will have two demonstration/familiarisation laps with the instructor over the loose surface Rally Special Stage. Then get behind the wheel, accompanied by your instructor, learn how to handbrake turn and control power slides as you scrabble for grip on the Rally Special Stage Guided by your instructor, youll be encouraged to explore your own limits as you develop your driving skills and increase your speed. Now you put everything you've learnt to the test as your final session is assessed by your instructor. At the end of the day there will be a presentation of Driver Assessments and Champagne to the `Most Improved Driver of the Day`.
